A dedicated Hand panning tool would make it easier even with a mouse. It seems that there are keyboard mapping programs available that will allow you to assign that 3-key combination to a single key. The keyboard mapping programs that I found that will do this all cost money. Does anybody know of a freeware program that will do what I am looking for. If its the function youre after, assign a SEKE to viewWalkThroughSlide. Yes, a Pan by Hand Tool which mimics this operation would be a great feature. I enjoy- and find very useful- the Pan by Hand tool in Adobe Reader. The Aerial View (F4) can also be used to pan (and zoom), very useful on large drawings. The Examine tool does what I want, but only after I go into the Camera Settings and click on one of the buttons to center the object so that the object doesnt slide off-screen. Autocad Center Mouse Button Pan How To Assign ThatGonna have to figure out how to assign that to a Hot Key, because the mouse itself (A Logitech MX7 Laser Mouse) doesnt take to emulating a Center Mouse Button in any way I can see. Input the alias customizecontrols in the Command Console, then click on the Additional Devices Setup button in the dialog that pops up. UPDATE: TC has no option to use the side button:-( is there a way for TC to use the side (thumb) button(S) cheers, david.
